Zerodha,

Whenever I try to plot RSI in ZT with Plus plugin, the candlestick chart moves quite upside, just like touching upper panel of chart frame, and looks like a line only. It happens always???
Please let me know what is wrong, so that I may see candlestick chart with RSI plotted in lower panel.
Sachin,

You probably missed this post. Also, I emailed this query, but no response.

ZT with firewall

Is it true that ,one can trade on ZT even behind corporate firewall?Any one tested it?

My company has very strong firewall set up n severe ISP restrictions. It blocks all trading and brokerages sites. Please suggest a way to trade with Zerodha and to watch Amibroker charts also.
Thanks

trade.zerodha.com should work fine.

nowonline does not work behind firewall.

trade.zerodha.com works, but not all functions.
The Trade Express feature does not work as it uses JRE and connects to the Zerodha servers using some custom port, which corporate firewalls normally block.
Sachin from zerodha has confirmed that this would not be an issue with the upcoming version of Zerodha web trader.

I am facing several issues with Zerodha and wondering if it was good idea to move to Zerodha. Few of them listed below:
1. I do not see any demat holdings at times (shocking) and it started appearing sometimes later.
2. Bad experience with the customer care response. [I have received mail from Zerodha migrate team to opt for migrating to Zerodha trading client. After accepting that there is no response since 2 weeks even after sending reminder a week back]
3. No neat way to get the portfolio value at cost price and the current price with overall portfolio status (Profit/loss). I am used to see the portfolio status in ICICIDirect and they have done pretty good job in this.

I would share my 2 cents for people planning to opt/migrate to Zerodha from other brokerage firms. The good side is of course the transaction charge.

demat holding updates after T+2 days for a fresh buy of shares....if you are using terminal /mobile version then check Holding ..you'll see the holding during trading hours.

but anyway ..you can always find them in the back office/ IL&FS site.

Do you have any F&O position open ? once you close the position shoot a mail then will do it ..right away ....fact is they find difficulty to migrate if any position is open...you know trading ID will be changed after all.

anyway talk to them ..ask them what is the reason for delay.

3. No neat way to get the portfolio value at cost price and the current price with overall portfolio status (Profit/loss). I am used to see the portfolio status in ICICIDirect and they have done pretty good job in this.
For which segment ? for F&O there is profit/loss status....For Equity segment Zerodha is yet to put a profit/loss report though.
