i just found out about zerodha and went thru a couple of pages on thsi forum. i have to say i m quite impressed by ur brokerage charges. this kind of a pay per trade system was long overdue. I m just glad u guys started it. 
i had called up ur office for a few queries and they told m the auto sqr off is 3.00. i think its way to early. 3.20 is usually standard. a lot of moves happen between 2.30/2.45 - 3.15/3.20. ur auto sqr off timign is just ridiculous. a couple of threads back u had mentioned u wud think about moving the auto sqroff to atleast 3.15-3.20 http://www.traderji.com/brokers-trading-platforms/47790-zerodha-169.html#post522003 .however it seems u have done the opposite by moving it to 3.00 from 3.10. u being a professional trader shud realise the importance of the last 30-45 mins. its kinda a deal breaker for me.

Sir yes you can convert your position, by the following ways:
1. Press Alt+F6 and their you can select the script you want to convert and click on "Position Conversion" and can change the product type to "CNC".
2. Press F8 and their you can select the order you want to convert and click on "Position Conversion" and can change the product type to "CNC".
If you choose the product type as "CNC" your order would not be auto square off at 3.10 PM.

Auto square offs still happen at 3.10pm for equity, nothing has changed...
For futures, we still start the square offs only by 3.10pm..Between 3 to 3.10pm, we don't let the clients to take futures on intraday margin levels... Futures are leveraged inherently, leveraging on an already leveraged position can cause situations to both brokers and the clients...
Nifty futures normally has 10 times margin, which you can use till 3.30pm... If we let you trade with 12-13k, leverage becomes almost 27 times...This has been done with collective interest of all our clients..

But since it is "auto" sqroff why not do it at 3.20?? btw plz instruct ur office guys coz they keep tellin every1 is 3.00. dats wat they told my friend as well.
I have read here about ppl having problems with NOW. i have been using NOW for almost 2 yrs now. from what i have read ur usign the tata version only coz of lowest congestion. i wud suggest u shud try the BSNL/airtel one. i have used all 3 of them. i found the BSNL one the most stable . maybe u cud provide that one. the bandwidth in any case is huge enough to not worry about congestion.
