Re: Nest & Now for F&O:-

Is NOW terminal faster than NEST?
If so, is it possible to log in for both NEST & NOW for trading in "NSE Capital Market & Derivatives"?
Then, the best possible option will be NEST [with paid "Nest Plus"] for Intraday charts and faster NOW for trading.
If we can run both Nest[Plus] & NOW from separate PC [no chance of freezing quote], it will be best option for a F&O Day Trader.
Lets hope..
With "Zerodha" Impossible is nothing! :)
The NEST we would be offering will be pretty close to NOW in terms of speed because we are collocating the servers.... The idea is to be able to do everything on one platform...

Dear sachin,
Is account opening started for commodity?.......If yes please share the procedures for the same......

I know. I downloaded their span margin file and find it confusing. So, if I can get a workable formula it would be great. Like for NF it is (more or less) Rs.(CMP of NF x 5), for mini it is Rs.(CMP of mini x 2) .. like that. That's why I just piggybacked my query along with yours :) Don't mind.
TP

You will find lots of info in the attached file.

I believe as a thumb rule Zerodha requires 40% of the total margin as stipulated by the exchange, for the intraday purposes only.

Hope it helps.

Big help. I guess it is approximately Rs.(CMP of Crude x 5) for carryover and Rs.(CMP of crude x 2) for intraday, same as nifty :)

Am I right ??

Hi,

Zerodha I have a little problem now,
1. I have ICICI A/C mapped with Zerodha .... but Now with the facility ICICI providing Account portability... I used it and I moved my A/C from one branch to other branch(which is convenient to me).... now I want to know as my A/C no will remain same(due to A/C portability like Mobile Number Portability) ... but as branch is changed .. so IFSC code will also change... so what should I do now to update things in your record.

2. And if I want to Map one more A/C what should I do?

Thanks in advance.

Regards
Sachin

1. For changing the primary account, you need to fill this form, and submit
it to Zerodha (Available on their downloads page..)

2. No format for adding another account on their downloads page. Are they
allowing it or not?

Thanks murthyavr but I know this form... but as my A/C no remains same is it required to fill form.. only my branch is changed.

And I will wait for Zerodha to reply for my 2nd question.

Is it possible for 2 nest copies to run at the same time on a single PC?

The reason I'm asking is that I already have access to NEST from another broker. If zerodha were to start commodities soon and migrate to NEST then this issue could cause me some problems.

I would love to trade commodities with Zerodha.
Zerodha,

On similar lines is the following query.

are multiple logins(say, from different systems) with same id possible in:
  1. NOW
  2. NEST

if yes how many?

i have started the trading with Zerodha after opening the trade account last week and its fine but i can not access the back office. as soon as click the back office login the error was appeared that browser doe not support the XDK, use IE. i had tried to open Back Office with IE8 and Google crome but problem does not resolved. hence i had downloaded the IE ext. tab for crome, now clicking on Back Office login blank page opens with the IE tab. i mailed the problem to Zerodha but there is no clear solution to the problem. is there any one here to help resolve the problem.
