1. How good is their platform? I hate when platforms get stuck. I do not want that with Zerodha...

2. Do they have desktop application or just web based trading? Do they use ODIN or something else?

3. How are their stock tips? Especially Intraday?

4. Brokerage aside(for which Zerodha is obviously the best , based on good, stable platform and stock tips, which would be better: Zerodha, Sharekhan, Geojit or other?

5. What do Sharekhan, etc have that Zerodha does NOT? Like charting maybe?

desktop platform : NOW + NEST[in a couple of days]. Both are fast. Servers colocated.
web based : HTML site + NOW express [java]
mobile platform too.

3. How are their stock tips? Especially Intraday?

no tips provided. they just enable fast platform at competitive rates. you are to trade on your own. they do not send flashy research reports/sms' and won't even call you if you don't trade for a few days.

Thank you for the details. So the platform is as good as ODIN? I can live without the tips. But as I asked above, what type of Investment Options compared to others? Also, for Brokerage, I heard they take .1(Delivery) or .01(Intraday)% OR Rs. 20 whichever is lower? Am I correct?

Whichever is lower is correct. What kind of "investment options" are you looking for ?? Zerodha is best used for F&O.
