Could you put up a FAQ list onb your website, with most of the questions asked here? In which case, instead of repeating the answers, you could just direct them to the link and ask them to refer to the respective Question no:

Yes, point noted... We are working on the same... We have a faq section, but don't think is anywhere close to all the queries that was asked on this forum.. We probably will have a forum soon dedicated only on answering queries about us... Cheers...

I recently opened an accoutn with you guys and have started trading on it. I am delighted to see the kind of responses you give in this forum. I understand that you would like to open your own forum but I would also request you not to close the replies coming in this forum.

For all those working behind firewalls and not being able to use NOW software, these are the ports that have to be opened. Might cost you a dinner with the system admin.. :)

Oh well, it was down. I tried to double check it via a web proxy just to make sure. It happened around 3 pm when I tried logging in. Anyways, could be a problem with the local DNS too but the same problem occurring with two separate ISP's(BSNL and MTS) can be a little hard to believe and unnerving at the same time.
What does - Login Failed. Reason : Api User Access Denied mean w.r.t Now Software? Its a little over 24 hours since I logged into nowonline, so was hoping my Now Software login ought to have been activated.
Yes, I am still facing problems adding scrips to my portfolio in the web version. IE-6 still says page not found and crosschecking with firefox threw up the same old error. Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long
Do I have to upgrade to IE-7? Thanks in advance.

Added later - NOW Software version is finally letting me in. I logged in after 12 a.m. Guess activation takes place after 12 am or some such thing.
Don't know if it was the Cinderella factor or the good ole "12 baj gaye" syndrome for as long as it works :D
Just hoping to get the web version up and running. Will update on that later.

It was resolved by updating the JAVA which is provided in the homepage of nowonline . in ....

Firstly, you need to have IE 7 or if you have IE 6 you need a different version of java.. So better to upgrade the browser to IE 7. If the problem still persists, please leave your contact, someone will call back and sort this for you.... Cheers..

I have filled some important details and signed at required places on forms. do I need to fill all the forms myself? or people at zerodha will fill in rest of the things.

One query. About Rolling account settlement.
Are you also forcing clients to clear their accounts every 3 months as required by sebi, or do you have a workaround?

It is really frustrating to wake up one fine morning and have your account showing zero balance and a cheque in the mail. The routine gets disturbed by a MINIMUM of 10 to 12 days.
