What do you mean by tick list??

OMG!!! Zerodha, You don't know what a tick-list is?

Anyway it is the list of tick generated by last traded price on a particular scrip.

I think he means something like this :

It's available in most of the s/w that I've seen. Not available in NOW.

Yes Timepass you are absolutely right. I want this list in NOW. I think it is not possible.

I shorted genesys @ 194 on 13/04/2012 and i bought @ 198 on 17/04/2012 at 1.30 pm, thinking that share is not auctioned by nse, before doing i checked with trade book & back office no sign of square off.
Next day morning on 18th, backoffice is showing the auction excecuted at 12.55 pm @ 206 on 17th.
If it showed in trade book i could have avoided buying the stock again.
Other brokers like bonanzaonline & sharekhan, their backoffice is realtime integrated with trading system. Ex : if i buy the stock it will reflect on backoffice instantly.

It happens with all the terminals of all brokers found in India. For ur specific q, YES.

A fundamental question, surely been answered somewhere in this thread, but bear with me.

I have a trading account only. If I buy some shares for delivery (CNC), what will happen to them at the end of the day ?? Will they be transferred to my DP (sharekhan) at the end of the day ? After 2 days ??? Or will they stay with you in the pool till further instructions. I am not sure what exactly is the "pool" but it has been spoken of here.

It must be happening because of your internet connection. I have got Tikona wireless and Bharti Cable Broadband connection. Tikona disconnects at least 4-5 times during the day and gives the same problem that you are having, while Bharti runs the whole day without disconnection or interruption. I want to discontinue Tikona, but also looking for a back up to Bharti. Any suggestions for a dependable secondary internet connection anyone?

Click on Market and under market there is a link called hourly statistics..

In this window, choose interval as 1 min and choose the contract. This will populate the data for you...
