If you are trading for a living, I would say you should definitely take some professional help for charting facility... Metastock and advanced get may be expensive... there are others which are more affordable(ticker plant, spider, etc)... If you can find a reliable data provider, amibroker is a decent deal too...
try earnbynifty.blogspot.com with amibroker to trade NIFTY

Hi zerodhaonline..

2. Do you have any plans of charging for NOW software...especially after March 2011.....I am a small trader....few lots per day..options....currently my broker charges me Rs 500..per month for NOW:mad:

Some people will never stop cribbing. Thank God, the calculations were for 20 lots only and not for 500 lots.

Sometimes I feel that what people are looking for is free brokerage, with tips that work 100 % of the time, and even on sundays. And even a concierge service to go and collect the money from the branches of their banks.

Zerodha, when will you offer free brokerage with the above services? any timeline? :)
I am also expecting tips for trading on the NSE in the evenings so that I can splurge on my dinner parties that of course YOU will have to organise and pay for.

When RK global server goes down and traders are screwed, that time they are ready to pay anything for a stable option. And when they do get it, they want it to be perfect to the dot, and forget how they are screwed by their previous brokers.

Of course, we cant rule out mischief from your so called competition also :)

Disclaimer. I am NOT a client of Zerodha, nor do I plan on becoming one in the near future, as NOW does not allow running multiple versions on the same machine. Other that that, I would shift to them even if it meant walking all the way from Mumbai to Bangalore to open the accounts.
:) ... What do I say, Indian customers are supposed to be the toughest to be pleased... :) Mischief from competition has already started, the real battle will begin next April onwards... We will start becoming visible on mass media only from then, not in terms of advertisement but in terms of a few newspapers and channels featuring us...
When a few really big traders from a big broker shifted, we had the ceo call up and tell us that we can't charge so less...
But when you are doing a business clean, smear campaigns usually don't work- it typically backfires... But all those following us will definitely see some action for sure... :)...

Would have loved to have you as our client, let me try finding if any other way for being able to run many instances of NOW from a same system.......

Would I be eligible for a dealer terminal, if I have written consent from all the account holders?
PS. I am not qualified as a dealer what with ncfm and some such certificates. I am a simple uneducated trader. Well not that uneducated, but dont have any fancy degrees. :)

Hi grv_1900
Who is your broker?
Hi Unicorn

The broker is bezel group.....

Although I may mention....due to an accident, I have done a single trade only, since Nov 16....the day this particular a/c went live......

So volumes are non-existent....Being charged as volumes are low
But still paying Rs 500 per month...for software which looks free from NSE is no fun:(
Regards

Hello Zerodha RM,

What you say is right, that in the India, when a small common fellow is beaten by a big and heavy fellow, everyone joint to beat him not know why but they beat because the big fellow is beating him. What more should I say now for this. I was say what your companys goal is that you are the cheap that most transaparent company for traders. And only you has said that it is not matter what competation is doing, right our wrong, your company will do it right thing only. And the super controler the SEBI also want people like you only and not like other brokers angin whom the NSE exchange and they get complain.

Go to the down link, if you has time and also read the attached circualr from SEBI , read point 2 - c,f,g. And also read point 4 why they has given this circular.

Alos I has surprise to see your 'thank you' to Samosa traders down message because if not necassary that if 100 fellows are again 1 then the one fellow is wrong.

Samosa Sir,

As you allreday know that I am not good in English because I never study in this laungage. I has to see dictonary for special words in postings, I see meaning for 'cribbing' and I was not suprise because you always write like this only. I do not know if this is becaouse of your very good performance in the share market or very bad one.

Thank you and best of luck.

As I am not a customer of Zerodha broker, from me this topic is close and what Zerodha company do or not do is for their future good.

Hey Ranger,

No hard feelings ....I am not able to put across the point to you....NSE transaction &turnover charges and Clearing charges are two separate things...Both charges together are shown as transaction charge on the contract note...But you can agree to disagree, there is nothing wrong in having a bad english... Even if you don't wish to become our client, leave your number on our website and I will call you up and explain how the mechanism works...

Cheers..
