FxGood,

as u quoted this , please wud u elaborate, in which way cud Zerodha help us in trading professionally?

on charting front - everywhere u r saying use some mt4/mt5 - in which way this cud help us - as suddenly all of the mt4 are stopped or they take exorbitant charges for charting. pls clarify in simple english - which is the better option - mt4/mt5 or amibroker for charting/

waiting for ur reply - ( but u never reply - pls for this time reply)
MT 5 is my personal choice and when comes to common choice its common in India there is plenty of Amibroker and some MT 4 as well due to many free and good custom indicators for signal analysis available for free for MT 4

Exorbitant charges? i am not sure any free legal data vendors on earth and personal i am OK to spend myself for data up to 3k per month for nse and mcx combined

Dear sr114,
You can test the demo MT5 using the link below. Charts are very fast & efficient (only little problem in Day Opening bar not show gap up / down for NSE). It consumes very little bandwidth and charts are much faster & better than MT4.

DIRECT LINK FOR DEMO:-
http://charts.firstcharting.com/metacharts/mt5registration.aspx

Firstcharting stll not fully started their service, so very few one knows about them. Presently they are charging Rs 750/per segment NSE & MCX as initial offer.
They said that if they got enough paid subscriber charges can reduce, but still now it is hard for them to continue bcoz of very few paid subscriber. So I have requested zerodha if they can made a deal for us & reduce the cost. Zerodha has a big client base they can try to negotiate.

Firstcharting authorized data vendor of NSE & MCX. MT5 charts updates within seconds & shows same future prices as of NSE NOW instantly.

Don't know how long they continue demo, so if any one want to test it COMPLETELY FREE can test it now.
Presently Nifty Future, Crude Oil, Gold, Copper available for DEMO. Any one can test and find MT5 much much better than Nest Plus:clapping:
Hope this helps other friends here also. :thumb:

Also Omnesys, please let us know how fast do the orders get picked up by Nest Plus? (in milliseconds please!) .. refresh rate for the signal monitor?.

This is what Omnesys says:

1. V1 only has place, modify and cancel APIs. APIs to fetch/query order status will be provided in V2. It is already planned for.

2. Order Execution speed is the same as the time taken when the order is placed from the GUI approx 1-2 milliseconds.

3. There is no refresh rate for signal monitor – it is realtime.

no sir i dont want any thing from them now just posting my views just like you just like every one else i called them up wrote them e-mails but of no use
Hey My Investment,

You definitely like to rub it in don't you?? ;) ..

I have already told you the limitation of why we are not able to give you an online module to give stocks as Margin...

NOW is not a propreitary platform, it is NSE's. NOW doesn't have the facility where we can link an online collateral module...

One of the reasons why we are moving to NEST, which you must be already using as you had mentioned earlier..

Maximum Stamp duty per day with us is presently Rs 50 per day.. I can't figure out how this could blow up your account?? Will blow up 1lk Rs if you trade for 10 years, 200 days/year..

About Zerodha Trader, We had another audit from NSE for the internet based trading module today. The response should be given to us in the next couple of days, If green we can go live within few(max 5) days from that.

Guys it is frustrating and one of the reasons I am not that active on this forum. There are roadblocks which can't be spoken about.
BSE has given green signal already, just waiting for NSE..

About professional Charting platform..

hmm.. we have spoken to a lot of authorized vendors and they will give a 10 to 20% discount, for ami, meta etc..
@ 10 to 20% discount, you are still paying quite a bit more than Rs 500/month that some of you are expecting...

As I have mentioned earlier, we as members of NSE cannot partner with vendors who are not authorized by NSE. Most of the names mentioned on this forum who do it at those prices are not..

If anyone is interested in a discount for live data feeds from an authorized vendor, PM me with your number, will share the details..
