Now is running smooth for me from the beginning.May be people didn't requested ini file from zerodha guys.they mail as soon as you request it.May be that is the problem.Or too many applications running on the system.I have 3 year old hp pavilion intel core 2 1.6 ghz and 1 gb ram windows xp service pack 2.the only applications running will be now software and icharts on google chrome.
Am I doing something right unknowingly or is this an exception in my case?
What ever it is I pray it continues smoothly for me as it is the case presently.

Brother...even if there is a .ini or .imi file to be updaded...it should be done automatically by NOW software itself...do u expect customers to keep looking for missing files every time we login....if there are any changes made to NOW software it should be updated directly by NOW setup... by the way i have 8 mpbs broadband as well as Reliance USB broadband.... tradetiger was fine...only NOW was giving problems....

My friend, most professionals dont trade beyond 3 pm. And its in the interest of the trader that the auto square off is done, because we are still in corrupt india, where infrastructure is like almost non existent. So, its safer, for both, Zerodha as well as other clients that the positions are squared off around 3 pm.

We have terminal to save our interest beyond 3. It has noting to do with traders interest unless u are looser.

Same for the margins. We dont want zerodha to go down under because of a few big traders. Safety for all

Dont take margins if dont want.

Dont take it personal but why u need ur interest to be taken care by ur broker ? Are you a looser ?


Buddy we are talking about privileges being taken down. Dont give more but atleast maintain.

Though I personally never take positions based on low margins but I would say square off at 3.00 pm is a bit too early.....3.15-3.20 was fine......Prices do move sharply nearing close so traders will miss out on few chances. I think zerodha should revert back to earlier time.

Besides I never got any SMS regarding this change....:annoyed:

Here was the situation

i got 40 Lot of 5800 PE at 19/lot hoping it will go up ... all of a sudden NSE Now stopped working ... tried closing and opening ... nothing happened ...

Restarted my system ... NSE Now was not working again ... after 30 min or so it started working properly .. by that time the price had dropped to 14/lot.....( by the way my other trading terminal was fine .. also internet had no issues)

so i lost 10,000 Rs .. just bcoz of this stupid issues ... who is responsible for these issues ...

everyone thinks to same some money in brokerage and find these peple ... but if u loose like this .. then its useless to think of these brokerages who offer cheap services... and they have one more excuse saying that NSE Now is not under our control ... by the way nsenow.co.in browser trading is utter crap ...

I have been using NOW with Zerodha for past 3 months full-time...with big lots....along with running Firefox, IE, Media Player.....and it has only frozen 2-3 times....for a few minutes only. NOW is an excellent software that is super fast and doesn't hang like ODIN.

I have a feeling that the reason why people are having problem with NOW is because of their system configuration or not properly installing NOW. Also, some competitors might have sneaked in here and are trashing Zerodha.....

I dont think i will ever blame zerodha for my loss,but my personal experience with NSE NOW is: reviving a man with a hear attack is much easier than reviving a now connection these days.Reminds me of 2006 when i used to trade with motilal oswal....
I have zero complaints wrt zerodha or their service,but you guys have to do something about NOW connectivity issues.

well i am not compnaining them directly ... but there should be something to be done for their clients to solve these issues ...

why will people come to zerodha ?

1 > cheap brokerage
2> thinking they use NSE now which is super fast ... always every one say this as a special feature ... but when this turns around you what to do ?

Like i mentioned earlier i am facing the same issues from past few days and its really a herculean task to stay connected.I sincerely hope zerodha takes care of it soon....
