Hi Zerodha,

I am interested to open an account. I have few shares with share khan. How shall I transfer those. What will be the cost and how long it will take? What is the minimum lot for nifty future?

Do u provide following features

1) Online money transfer. Like sharekhan does. (Just checked online. It does.. )
2) Web based trading and real time market watch. Sometime I have restriction to install an application.
3) Online personal portfolio.
4) All time trading history.

Above all -- no hidden cost..

To transfer shares, we don't charge you anythign, sharekhan will charge transfer charges... It could be between 15 to 20 Rs/script...

Yes, you will have 3 versions, webbased, software and mobile..

We have a backoffice link and you can see your portfolio on it... We are revamping the backoffice...

Yes, you will have the trading history all time available to you.l..

Minimum lot size?? You will have all the contracts available on NSE to trade.. If you meant margin, presently margin required for nifty futures intraday positions is around 12k and 27k if you want to keep it overnight...

Thanks for the reply. I think I shall sell all those that are in my portfolio. Then start over again with new hope.

Will give you a sample:

Trading login ID: DS0010-13906
Member ID is 13906( which is common for all zerodha clients)

Backoffice could be : TNDS0010, Here the first 2 characters represent your state, in this case TN for tamil nadu...

Broker ID and member ID is the same: 13906 ...

is still not complete, I got an e-mail from ur team

I go over the thread and I am a little mixed up. Just want to know the advantages of using its services? I may consider using it if I will find the features will benefit me in the long run.

Few questions :

1) Do the trade executions through NOW MOBILE reflect in the terminal instantly?
2) In a 3 legged oder, the brokerage is charged for all 3 legs separately?

Few Development Requests :

1)Option Valuation and Risk Calculation made dynamic. This would be something unique whcih PIB, Trade Tiger dont offer. Is it possible to get Theoritical Price, IVs and Delta Vega Gamma for each option line be calculated dynamically with in the underlying, in the market watch grid? May be simple BS model with skew and kurtosis?

2)The "Write to Excel" or SHIFT+E takes the backup to Excel, but it actually opens the Excel file. Is it possible to just get the the backup and not open the file itself. This hinders the next time backup is taken.

for providing such a fast and prompt
customer service. Had alogin problem in
the morning and was solved by your able
staff. Hope u maintain this standard for
a long time to come and become a guidance
for other service providers.

Have been using ICICI Direct Platform
for long. Migrating to Zerodha is proving
a little bit difficult. Fail to understand , how
to place a order. Let's say I want to order
one lot of Mini Nifty. How do I do that, Is there
a Demo Available somewhere, or can u guide in
a few steps.

Yes the trades done is updated on all 3 versions immediately(mobile, web, exe) ...

If a different order number is generated, then yes the brokerage is charged separately... So yes, brokerage charged separately....

On the development bit, am going to bounce it off with the NSE IT team and get back to you...
