Zerodha,

Do you have any plans to provide MT4 as your charting package.

Believe me when i tell you this, if that happens your customer base will increase 10 folds..

I don't know not a single indian broker takes advantage of one the best free charting platforms available

Add to that algo trading from MT4 terminal and you are gold!!

I guess the indian brokers have very bad business sense..since none of them seem to understand their customers..

Anyways..i sincerely hope you at least give it a thought.

I had mcx account with them since feb/march ..but not used till now....separate funds needed...

Zerodha, today morning, my RMS Surveillance shows that I have used more money than I have in my account (117.86%). Do you auto-square off such positions ?? If so, at what time ??

I logged in early, around the time of my previous post, and it is working ok. (I use Tata-ISP as default).

Done:Sorry i was using version 1.6 and now upgraded to 1.7 and logged in to software on 1 attempt

One more question can we transfer money from saving account to trading one using NOW software?

When you open an account / a FD in bank. Did you ever ask- Is my money safe ?
Bank either Private of public guarantees only Rs 100,000 of Refund in case of bankruptcy rest all is your risk. as mandated by Govt. / regulators etc.

As of now Zerodha has all necessary approvals as mandated by govt. or Sebi or NSE.

You simply have to trust them no other choice. Only time can tell whether they run away with your money or not.

First of all, Metatrader 4 or 5 is not free. It has some License charges...

Moreover, NSE has some specific criteria for allowing trading platform and one of them is rules regarding algo trading by the brokers...

Most of the Indian brokers know about MT4 or 5... But it's upto the SEs to take a call on that...
