which version you are using tell me ,, or else there is option menu ..click on norton antivirus from right side of task bar then see there are options in that there is option to turn off AUTO protect

if you want to speed up odin client THEN close all other running background program and also while running odin program make its priority high by the task manager .. thats all... i am doing this also
