Re: 1 lakh to 652 lakhs in 497 trading days - Winning 20% of Trade in NIFTY Futures -
Hello Raj sir
I just downloaded the tool. It is excellent sir. My congratulations. I would have definitely given it go but unfortunately I do not trade in any of the high beta scrips listed. No index either. May I suggest that you should keep the output end locked in your code but open the input end of it so that people can have their own choice of scrips. It is fairly easy logic. All you have to do is to have a drop down box of scrips to choose from instead of just one static name like for example Reliance. The dropdown box could be populated by an external XML/ .xls file which may be editable by the user. Once the name is chosen then it should become the value of the name variable in your locked code which at present is fixed - Reliance. Then the whole series of variables steps can be initiated to fetch the data for that name from the google finance which at present is hard coded. But the super thing would be if you can incorporate the Josh's excel file which gets the data from Now/odin to display in Amibroker. You can use that dynamic file to keep the both the tool and trading terminal in sync. It this happens then you won't have to extrapolate spot prices to resemble futures values and you won't be needing dropdown boxes either. You will have the real thing. Just an idea. I am sure it is doable in VB. Believe me then it will be really worthy of going commercial.
Forgot to add. Your readme file is brilliant. Very helpful.
