You can enter any NSE Scrip available in FandO market. All the cells with a red square are editable. I have locked only the first two rows where NIFTY and BANKNIFTY is there.

Thanks sir. I apologise for being presumptious. By the way I see many posts on your thread reagarding refresh problem of your excel workbook. Excel is notorious in this regard. If it is not internet connection or other hardware problem then a couple of solutions might speed up things. One is to turn automatic calculations off. Excel options>formulas> turn workbook calculations from automatic to manual. Other is mimimum use of array formulas. Instead one can use pivot tables or SUMIF function. Create a virtual RAM disk and operate the tool from there. Try the above tricks otherwise google for more. There must be thousands to speed up excel updating I am sure.

Sorry folks for the Performance problem. I will work on the Performance issue and give a better version in next week In the meanwhile please use the previous version. But at least the base work is done.

Hello RAJ Sir,
I have started studying and exploring your 15 and 25 EMA strategy (Intraday ), It is really good concept but still not very clear to me... Now I had entered 14 Sept OHLC price in your Excel Sheet, and I got following value in respective columns :

Buy above 25 EMA = 5364
Sell below 25 EMA = 5316

15 EMA = BUY
25 EMA = BUY
15 and 25 EMA Combination Signal = BUY

In Y column Buy Above = 5364


Now my doubt and questions are:

Are these values for today (For 17 Sept) ??

As Trend and signal is clearly showing BUY (GO LONG)

If yes then value for Buy above is 5364...now here market is already much above 5364..WHERE I SHOULD BUY at ????

Today market will open above 5600 (expectedly)..

How to read and understand your Excel Sheet to do effective paper trade ????

Can you please explain SIR ??

Hope you are using the version BETA 2.

Make sure you have the latest values NIFTY OTP sheet. The problem might be that you might not have the data for all the days. Please download ohlc the data from nseindia site and update till last Friday... For today the system will take care of updating live

I am talking about that BACK TEST excel Sheet in which you have given all the data from JAN 2007 and in which you have given 15 , 25 day EMA and Combination strategy for BUY and SELL position, and also where you have showed NIFTY trading with starting 1,00,000/- (Did you remember about that EXCEL file ??)


I request you if you are updating that file at your end at regular basis, then can you give me that updated file with latest data...???

I checked the the Buy above and SEll below levels are correct. The unfortunate thing with the Moving averages is that it is lagging. So you might be right that 5364 is far from 5600.... That is because market moved fast to 5600 but the moving averages are not catching up.... But 5364 is still correct
