Re: Sensex TECHNICALS

Good to know about your bearish outlook.
Now I am a short-term trader, so how I can use this long-term level in my trading especially when Sensex has moved up almost 2500-3000 points from its low and started an uptrend on both Daily & Weekly charts 1-1/2 months back?
y may b bit late considering 17875.......last fornight it touched 17730........
now there r two options......go short if u r able 2 bear the risk till 17875.....or wait for another bounce back.....:)

As I see, it did not touch 17875. So at what level it was shorted last fortnight and how that level was decided?

I am not talking about your favourite level. I am asking, "As I see, it did not touch 17875. So at what level it was shorted last fortnight and how that level was decided?". So my question is at what level, in the last fortnight, Sensex was shorted?

Re: Sensex TECHNICALS

Not so long back but in the last fortnight as you said that last fortnight sensex reached within striking distance to this level and hence I could have taken benefit of this particular level. But you have still not answered to my question, "At which level I should have shorted sensex in the last fortnight and why?". I have no answer from you for, "How this level is helpful to me in trading when downtrend changed to uptrend more than 1 month back." Do I need to sit idle till sensex closes above this particular level?

By the way, the stop was hit on 04/02/2008, am I right? http://www.traderji.com/equities/19139-25jan-sensex-18362-bears-attack-stop-23.html#post149691 ...........

Oops No! The stop loss level was upgraded to 18950 later on 31st January when Sensex closed at 17648.

A stop-loss of 1300 points!!!!!! :confused::confused::confused::confused:

And now in 4 months from an initial entry of 18011, the Stop-loss has been moved to 17875 on closing basis. What a marvellous trade! 136 points of sensex in 4 months with a SL of 1300 points and if by any reason Sensex closes above 18011 after crossing 17875, it'll be a loss.

What purpose does this kind of analysis serves excpeting bringing a bad name to technical analysis! Is it any better than your favourite Cartoon Network analysts (as you dub them) ?
