Hi FT,

Can you share some opinions arising from backtesting SH315 on commodities?

Well I have been taking trades based on 315 setup and so far it has proved to be a good experience. I have not back tested using any data set as there are no on exit rule. I have visually monitored them and took some paper trade last year before taking real trades.

Dear FT,

Have u modified/tweaked any basic rules of 315 like in other thread u r saying that sometimes u exit if 3 EMA & close diff is much at the day end as well.

Well my trades are normally executed towards session close. I would definitely try and post these :)

As I have been getting few PM's as well about posting live trades or posting possible trades before they are executed, I felt I needed to respond :) Last couple of days have been killing in terms of way commodities crashed :gun2: Tying to recover :lol:

Anyways today morning I am looking at initiating long trade in Gold @ current levels. I missed this trade last night.

The close price is not touching 3 EMA. So going by past behavior this is a contra trade for targets of 3 EMA.

Edit : Can you also check USD/INR ?? I think it had a bullish crossover, but in MT4.
