I m unable to download the file whenever i click the site link it says page not available, but i doubt the "******" on the link, how do i remove them

Thanks for the data. I really wonder how u maintain such a good database with all the indices coming up. I do have certain difficulties in updating the nse indices and bse indices when the rest came up successfully. I download the nse EQ, FUT,indices and BSE EQ with pankaj latest downloader and world indices using tdi. the data is perfect and all are getting uploaded into ami except NSE and BSE indices where the format is also correct. Pls guide me where i went wrong. I also download your fut ieod from 4 s h a r e d. But i couldn't find data for 02/06/08 adn 03/06/08. kindly if possible upload that also.

Dear soumya, I got error for rar files 2 and 3. I have used rar file 1 only and updated from bse-nse2005 site. What is contained in rar files 2 &3. I get message error in files. How to get updates for ^bsesn, and other foriegn indices from jun2 onwards

In my database i have the following symbols under NSE indices as

Bank Nifty
CNX 100
CNX IT
CNX Midcap
CNX Midcap junior
nifty Midcap 50
S&P CNX 500
S&P CNX Defty
S&P CNX Nifty

where as when i download nse indices using pkjha downloader i get the following

when i tried to add these to the database no error comes but data doesn't get updated from 02/06/08 till 06/06/08. similarly the same problem persists with bse indices. Kindly guide me on this

Hello Soumya,

The easy part was downloading and extracting the rar files. That done, I have copied your EOD folder to Amibroker.

As this is till the 29th May, I have the following questions:

1. Using PKJha's EOD and downloading the Bhavcopy files, would I be able to keep updating your file?

Should I use the defaults given in the program itself?

2. As all the data for BSE and NSE is here, plus FNO and Futures can you explain the further steps sequentially.

3. I am currently able to import into Amibroker and I have the latest version 5.10.

Any thing to be careful about?

Hi Soumya,

When using ***** (y_a_h_o_o) to update the World Indices I see that there is no volume information. What is your data source. Even for Nifty NSE has stopped Volume info. If you can share how you go about daily updating the database then we could probably take it from where you left. Any chance of getting the update till this week from 30-05-2008 where your files stop.

Dear Somya,
First Thanks a lot for providing such neat data. i m new to amibroker and juggling from last 3 (18 hrs/day) days to load data into amibroker then integrating symbols, followed by adjusting for splits and bonuses. atlast while searching i got your forum on the net and downloaded all amibroker_EOD (3 parts ) updated on 30.05.2008. I have few queries :
i. this amibroker_EOD data is from 1994 and updated on 30.05.2008. ( am i interpretating it correctly or not)
ii. i sincerely request u to pls. help in loading data into amibroker. presently the data which i hv downloaded in amibroker is in txt format. so i hv to use import wizard in file menu and pick all those txt files but the files in winrar seems to be in other format. how i load data.
