I guess this is the best weapon for any kind of market movement. :)
Usually Taiki after a gap down and V reversal filling the gap and Index moving like to anything to 5885 levels will make every one think that markets are strongly bullish and they will try to buy at all the supports with out going for shorts.

So beware of V reversals.
Don't see charts just as prices.
See what moves them - I still have a question on this. Will check with ST Da.

Thanks Jagan bro..

Do not know about your question, but I am also wandering something now.. That is this gap (today), was it only because of the strong US market (prev night), or gas price hike ?? Or was it predictable from yesterday's closing ? The way Nifty moved after 1pm yesterday and gave a close around 5680.

Asking this out of my ignorance, Are gaps are predictable in someway ??:confused:

I don't know how to predict gaps.
May be we can home work and see what events triggered the gaps.
But Gaps occurs on news days.
So we have to be careful about the news (Importance of news).
Some times news is discounted  if it is not in the favour of smart money,
Usually the counter trend traders will get slaughtered.
I.e The day before gaps markets will move against the trend.
Gaps occur in the direction of Trend.
