Firstly, let me thank you a million times for the effort you taking to guide us newbies like me and a quite a few lurkers here :)

Coming to one of your posts :

Does it also include tips from known brokering sites such as ICICIDirect for intraday trades. I am an absolute newbie and would like to understand and do intraday trading. However, I am a bit confused with all the moving day averages and charting.

My question is even if I cannot understand charting and other intraday terminologies, shouldn't I take help from sites likes ICICIDirect? In case its still a no -no how does one go about understanding charts to start day trading?

Do not invest money. Just do paper trade on the inputs given by ICICI.
Check yourself if your positions are turning into profit or loss.
If you are confident with papertrade(at least for 3-4weeks) then you can go with actual trade.
ICICI publish ~4-5tips/hour for intraday. this means ~25tips/day. do you have capital to invest in all the trades? If not then keep this point also in mind while doing paper trade.

I had done it on Moneycontrol (very long back)..... I do not know about other sites. Someone can advice on that...
But now I prefer to do it in xls file... that helps in analysing further.
