They may be helpful but those seminars are only a pickle in your full meal. They may also be misleading to enhance their business, I'm not sure.
I short, you should get your main meal from elsewhere, read books, see free seminars which are available in the internet.

Forget about those broker's seminars and I recommends the below site for you all to start than going for seminars conducted by broking firms.

If you don't know then invest in a mutual fund.
Or if you like to be in a stock and not sure whether its valuation is cheap or expensive then, you can buy a small amount of shares each month and accumulate the stock at a lower price in time (like SIP).

As said i tried opening an account in maneycontrol but once i login with my newly created user id and pwd its displaying the login doesn't exist what do i do

my moneycontrol account which was opened is good&active and i am daily viewing my PF
