Yes, you can open multiple demat accounts even with the same broker.
Its better to have separate accounts for trading and investment portfolio.

Re: .:|Absolute Beginner Guide for Day Trading|:.

To all the beginners reading this, its an absolute MUST that you read the books-Trading in the zone by Mark Douglas & Emotion free trading by Larry Levin (I'm not not sure if this suggestion has been made on previous pages)

Hi, this is the most useful site I have found, thanks to you for this useful site and thread.

Specially this thread cleared my most of the doubts which newbies will have,

It also cleared my bad feelings like, I can make money easily using shares.
It also said we should accept losses, we should study.. these are the main things which gained the confidence in me...

Basic guide on intra day was most useful, other basic guides and the explanation given by gsalvadi on share holders, public ltd co, pvt ltd co., is beautiful any new be can understand. (I am missing all the next stage of guide, this thread was started 2 years before, feeling sad about the information has stopped)..

The web link given www.informedtrades.com is useful thank you.

But still have some doubt,

1. what is the difference between shares and commodities?
2. One of my friend said that, if I invest in a company for more than 1 year, there will be no tax on that.. is that true?
3. Can commodities is easy to guess whether will go high or low today than shares?

Finally
Thanks for all of your efforts.

regards
Sh
