Hi gentlemen,

can anybody please tell me if there is a excell spread sheet version of the dhiraj's system 2652 calculator. I am aware that there is calculator on sohans site, but has anybody done one for the calculator to work in excel . Thanks

hi guys

m new to traderji.found this thread very helpfull and impressive.i have understood the basic theory but m just a little confused cause of change of market timings.

if anybody could just tell as to what time the high-low readings should be taken ( 9.15am & 9.35 am is what i understand).

i have metastock (m new to metastock also ),so i guess the amibroker afl wont work.if anybody could help me with the metastock formula for 2652 it would be really great

Anu ji, Thank you very much for taking the time to reply. you are gentleman. I am in the uk and have adapted this strategy to spread trade the ftse 100 index market. In the uk the market opens at 8.00 am. I have been using the original time as set out 10.15 am. So without realising that this time is meant to be for the Indian market, by accident i had been getting regular profits on the ftse index. Although my aim is to only capture 10 points profit. I have been using different time frames like the 9.15 am GMT but this is not as effective as the 10.15am GMT ( a 2 hour period ).

Although i am only papertrading at the moment, until i get a few months results to see how best to implement this wonderful strategy.

Hi Adalat:

Have you tested the 2652 method only with indexes or even with very liquid stocks? There are prolly a list of about 30 stocks that could fall in this category that could be suitable for purely intra day.

Please let me know your thoughts

being inherently lazy, is it possible to get a bird's eye view of the 30 stocks I want to see on a single page of historical data. On the nseindia.com site, while i am able to see the info, i need to navigate multiple times..

Hi Rainbowkids, I get my historical data from the yahoo website, for this system. Other wise i only use live data from the capital spreads site. I have only info on the ftse index. I only trade the index for its ease of use and transaction costs. I have never looked at stocks/shares. So i am sorry i cannot give you any advice on that. Dhiraj's system is a wonderful strategy to experiment using your own parameters. i hope i have answered your query, if there is anything else let me know. wishing you a nice day.
