You can try right click on chart with the mouse , then choose parameters, then on axes&grid tab click on change date axes to ok

I need a AFL guru to help me download the following chart data into CSV or excel.

It is a 1000 volume chart. So for every 1000 volume it will print the high,low,open,close candle for that 1000 volume, and so on.

right now I need to download only OHLC with volume constant at 1000 exactly as in chart and export all days OHLC data into excel in following format ( or similar format)

date time open high low close volume(=1000)


I tried some of the AFL in the help file but I am getting syntax error message. Also I tried Symbol>quote editor > copy&paste that is giving only 1minute OHLC. Also tried analysis > automatic analysis > file and export and csv output is blank.

Right now I need AFL expert help.

i have downloaded amibroker and scrips from getbhavcopy....
i am using the EOD data strategy....

when i try to load the scrips i am getting the message
"Not Enough Data available. To plot any chart at least 3 data bars are needed but there are only XX bars in XYZ"

can any experience trader help me to solve this problem??

Dear tushar,
If you using eod data then there need minimum 3days data to show chart in ami...also if you using demo version of ami then need import data evry time when you login ami...hope this clears your doubt..

trial version of amibroker have some common faults like drawing trendline,scrolling indicaters to insert etc and many others

Dear Tushar,
It's learning process...you must know basic TA ...know about chart/bar.....then know methods...backtest methods ...took confidence in trades...only from chart you not get buy/sell.......read threads in TJ you can understand these all things ....but do it slowly & steadily....My experience is that before coming to TJ am zero in all these things ./..but now am able to trade confidently....but still learning....

while installing getbhavcopy i could understand this last step
Add Getbhavcopy.format into Amibroker formats list

Open file import.TYPES from the same directory (\Amibroker\Formats directory) into Notepad and add following line at the end of the file.

GetBhavCopy format (*.txt)|*.txt|GetBhavCopy.format
