need help about changing amibroker data path

Run Ami then TOOL>preference>data now click on PICK n select the directory of ur new database

that is my metastock data. my vendor sayed if fix the path it will work, but they dont work with amibroker so they cant say

i think amibroker can not import full metastock folders. eg every scrips in metastock folder, which ever metastock data vender u subscribe. thats why some newly included scrip or ipo u may not get in ami

i have Equity EOD database now...want to create F&O Database in another window..

JUST CREAT A DATA BASE WITH data import or not then use tool>preference>data, then brows the data base. then press ok. done

then make afresh database in ami with eod as tf and import the metastock f&o folder there.u can delete previous data base.

creat new with file>new>database, then brows any blank folder in other volume
clik creat. if u want to make it default then chek load this database at start up.

Thank you everybody. It is really a nice thread full of discussion on Amibroker. Hope today I would be able to set up my amibroker working. If AMI starts working then the next step would be to go for AFL. Hope I would get full support and cooperation from the Seniors.
