Amiquote----not able fetch real time data from yahoo

Please, can any body say how to fetch realtime data from yahoo using Amiquote? I request the members who have successfully incorporated the same and are using it regularly to throw some light on the possible solutions...Thank you ...please treat this as urgent......

I have installed Amibroker in my laptop. I copied my database from PC to laptop and also formulas, formats, layout and plugins to Laptop. still I get error in a few windows formula file not found. Further coloured candles etc are missing. How to have exact replica settings in my laptop as in my PC.

I can only guess....but still u can give it a try! After ur installation of amibroker on ur laptop,all new database was created,,,now delete all database files one by one from Progarm files,,,,then copy ur old database files fro ur pc using a pendrive...then rebuilt the database again in ur laptop from the copied files in ur pendrive........i hope this will work ....let me know...if it worked..thanks

please any one give the ans.hourly bar showing as 9.59.55/10.59.55/11.59.55/12.59.55/1.59.55/2.59.55/3.29.55 in my AB.can I able to change it as 10/11/12/1/2/3/3.30 .if so please give details to how can I change it

I can only guess....but still u can give it a try! Thanks. For your response and time. May be I was not clear. Problem is not with databases. I have three databases,which I copied and they are working. Problem is with charting. Many panes exhibit error saying formula is not available. As I said in my previous post, I have copied formula, format, layout and plugins folders from my PC to Laptop. I am not getting original layouts, like coloured candles etc which I have in my PC and also some charts specific with some custom indicators

Hello,

In the Chart of your PC, Right click,


and from the Popup window select Template -- Save -- and choose Chart template complete and save the template. This template you can load it in your Laptop..


This will preserve all your settings of the chart in the PC and you will be able to transfer it to the Laptop..

there are conflicting suggestions regarding a better or best software for trading.Some members suggest Amibroker while some suggest tradestation and yet others Metastock...Please somebody suggests a better one for beginners...thx

So enjoy! the best software of world. It is also twice fast than metastock!

Unlike meta stock where you need to purchase 2 seperate versions!

It is not the software, it is your ability t read charts. Youc an pick anyone which suits your trading style.

I prefer amibroker, due to ease to use, fast speed of software and flexibility to play with data!
