Angel broking: Cheap brokerage and excellent service.

For people like me who have 1.5 gb/month download limit how does Angel fare? My current trade software uses 3.5 kb/sec for watching 30 stocks. What about Angel's Diet?

Better get unlimited connection with 256-500 Mbps speed from Airtel. BSNL has slowed down and Airtel has good support and does not fail most of the time except on maintenance schedules.

By ur calculation it would take 1.89 GB with ur present connection. But usually the downloading rate is more or less the same so better to change the net plan.

Pool to Pool transfer charges are charged by depositories(NSDL/CDSL) & thus are transferred to clients by all broking houses while selling a script & its applicable per ISIN(Scrip)

dhruvrs, as you mentioned that RS.11 charged while selling a script, do you mean to say that if i purchase a script and sell it, even after charging a brokerage of 0.20%, they will charge another Rs.11/= is it. Could you clarify.

When i checked with them, they also told me that if the brokerage is less than Rs.30/- say for example i buy some scripts and the total brokerage comes to Rs.20/- then they will add Rs.10/- to it and charge me RS.20/= + Rs.10/- i.e. anythime minimum of Rs.30/= even if the rate agreed with me is 0.20%

i havnt used kotak's system , but odin is superb its a product of Financial technologies , and certainly the best trading software

How much do they charge other than broking. Like for eg: S.T, SSt, T.O.tax etc etc. which makes all together rather high. For eg. Geojit i ma having for last 3 mts. But they charge 1.4% for delivery and sales (exp. for 1 script ITC for 5 days kept).
Think its high.
I made 950 rs profit. But still Rs. 127 was further cut.

I called angel office in my town yesterday and was point blankly denied for 1 paise trading in commodity.

Now have to BUG my Indiabulls RM to get me 1 paisa brokerage :lol:

Dear Stockpalcement,

Pool to pool charges are applicable only in the case of delivery of shares for settlement purpose. They are not levied on future or option contracts.

Hi Sukumar,
I checked Angel's website they do have a branch at Chennai. The brokerage you are paying to Geojit(1.4% on del) is too, too high!!! Negotiate better terms or change your broker.
