Hello friends...

If anyone has opened an account / traded through reliancemoney.com please kindly give the following info:

1. What happens to the unused turnover limit ? can we carry it with the next recharge?

2.Is there any service charge when we recharge?

3.Do they provide streaming quotes for multiple scrips?

Thanking you all.....

hi all,

the students of a blind school were asked to write an essay on the elephant. they all went to an elephant in a nearby zoo and recorded their observations and completed their assignment. the rest of the story, we all know. but this elephant is dumb! and here goes another essay from another blind student.

i visited the RMoney table in an RWorld outfit and had some discussion with the person-in-charge and collected the application set. they have a set of applications to be filled in with a few dozens of signatures. the set is delivered in a folder wherein ONLY the filling instructions are printed.

they do not have any information booklet or the printed tariif plan document or any other booklet of any information for delivering to the aspirant. may be they are waiting for some clearances, before making any public offer! the public announcements about the official launch of the service is indicated to be made soon.

from what i could talk and get info, they have a better security arrangement with a dynamically (once in a few seconds) changing password. users may have to preserve the keychain like thing (?) safely. loosing of the keychain may not provide access to the other person immediately, but the investor may miss a few days of usage till alternate arrangements are made.

activation was promissed within a short time.

the tariff plan indicated matches what is already posted in this thread and is highly attractive. the tariff plan offers a mixture of cash and futures limits, which may tempt the earstwhile investors in the cash segment into FnO segment also.

it is also said that the unused limits in a card can be carried forward on renewal.

from out of the composite brokerage amount collected, how much goes to the software usage and how much goes as conventional brokerage and what is the taxes component remains to be seen. but at such low prepaid amounts, STT collections by govt may also be lower.

may be it is a worth a try even at this early 'private placement' stage.

all the best.

Hi Murthy,

Thanks for the information.

I will wait for some more time(say 1-2months), before opening an account in it, so that they get settled and there is no confusion on any matter.

Praveen.

I Didnt understand how this will effect STT collections .STT is charged on transactions and not on brokerage .So it remains the same. I dont think the reliance package of Rs500 /- Includes taxes . Thats only for brokerage and i bet all taxes ,Duties will be extras
Cheers
