iam looking for u , bcoz I want to to give some suggestions but ur thread is closed there(serious mentored trader).
anyway I got u, here are the few things u need to know abt.
@@i observe u that u repeatedly asking abt sideways market,
my opinion is that there is no such thing to avoid it.
before trading the market following things are important to you.
1).which markets are suitable to u?.(indices,stocks,commodities..........etc....)
pls select only one market and try to analyze the behaviour.
2)which timeframe ur most comfortable?(daily,hourly,30min,15min,5min.....).
pls select only one timeframe.
3)decide ur capital amount (50k,100k,150k.....).
4)never risk more than 2% of ur capital amount on a single trade.
5)never hold more than 4 position at a given time.
6)use only 25% of ur capital for single trade.(based on 2% and 25% decide ur positon size).
7).use multiple exit strategy.
8)remember always believe urself,listen to others but follow urself.
9)depending on ur personality devise ur own system (start with trend following system...as u enhance urself try others...).
10)build any system if u follow money management u will get nothing but money.
11)pls understand that risk management and capital management are different things.
12)don't believe in backtesting,papertrading,fancy indicator sellers/trading system sellers,cnbc,ET.news..etc
13)keep a log of all ur trades.....
