When i was trading futures, i used to deploy full capital often. But in all my days of options trading - only once I was able to deploy upto 50% of capital in a single trade, another time about 46% - and that too with what i consider huge pile-on adds. Usually, I deploy 5-10% of my capital in a trade.... never been able to add upto 100%, though that is the plan.

If capital is greater than 2 lakh , why are you not trading nifty futures ?

futures mein cost zyada hai... breakeven for options is much lesser.

in my trading timeframe, option premium decay does not matter much.
