BROKER'S ADVISE or SELF JUDGEMENT on INVESTMENT

IS it WISE to take your OWN judgement and decision OR follow your BROKER's ADVISE to invest in stock market especially equity market?

In MY opinion first GAIN KNOWLEDGE of the stock market, study the TREND then take your JUDGEMENT and DECIDE to invest wisely.

Re: BROKER'S ADVISE or SELF JUDGEMENT on INVESTMENT

LS, we always on choice in all aspect of life. Some of the choices have tough road ahead, with possiblity of many hurdles on the way.. maybe few failures in short run but success in long run the end, ..
On the other hand, you have easy way out.. short term gain but long term loss.
(what if the person who is giving you advise closes his buss tomorrow, the analyst working for broker and giving tips leaves the company ? You will be left alone in the market then).

Enough of gyan.. My suggestion is always to go for independency i.e. learn the rules of the game and take Self decision. If they can do it, then have confidence in yourself that u can also do it.

Happy Trading

Re: Type of Investor: LONG Vs SHORT TERM

I am a long term investor, keep stocks for more than 5 years, reaping the rich dividend year after year, gaining on the right shares for number of years and benefited from BONUS shares which are TOTALLY FREE. Everyone loves FREE stuff.

Re: ????? FUTURE OF BSE, NSE if FII .......................

REMEMBER, majority of the FIIs are US based.

US economy is based on Housing and Auto industry in a big way.

Right now the HOUSING and Auto industry BOTH are in doldrums with unemployement rate more than 10 and even more than 20 in certain US states and it is still going to WORSEN as per the statistics.

So if that happens, these FIIs would if not all, WILL withdraw 70% to 80 % of their money in a zap.
