When NF trend is down as per strategy, I selected a banking stock quoting at high price; the straegy is crude; going short in any banking stock may fetch good return now; only we should time the market correctly at the correct entry level; do not try this strategy. It worked today; may not work always

u can combine other calculators such as elliot waves and pivot points along with Columbus bhai's bollingerworm techniq(paper trade master it then combine)to get the full juice out of it
also if anyone could get the gann calc into a desktop program form it would be realy nice.

I slightly changed the strategy today. I took NF trend as per strategy, but chose to short in HDFC Future at 636.5. Hopefully shd give better return than NF. In any case, kudos to the strategy. Sure, similar attempts would have been made by others

Its nice tht it worked for u.. But any reason for choosing HDFC..??

How about using NF trends and working with NIFTY makers(big weights)

Wow!!! TARGET 2 on sell side hit too..

Here are details of my paper trade:-

Sold NF at 4847 (12.27)
Reasons-
1> LTP confirmed Gann levels
2> LTP below WA at that time
3> DJ Fut looking weak
4> MACD down

Target 1 hit i.e 4832 hit (12.37)
Target 2 hit i.e 4815 hit (12.54)

Oh GOD!!
TARGET 3 Hit too i.e 4798 hit as I write(12.57:clapping::clap::thumb::clapping::clap::thumb

Well I have been paper trading this strategy and it is working good all these days..

But there's one thing to consider... On most days, the third tgt is often reached and then the market reverses.. This happens generally after the 1st tgt on the other side is achieved...(well thts my observation), u guys r free to comment..

Malunana and msa5678, i am waiting for ur views as u guys r tracking it for quite long now...

No further downside expected unless something drastic happens(remote chance) as DJIA Fut MACD turning up as I write
So no trade zone in next 10 -20 min..
BTW some seniors/experienced members can initiate a very short duration scalping Buy expecting a pullback..
But that is pure indiscipline as per thread starter..

I missed something in the previous post..

Since i happen to say tht the third tgts are achieved more often than not, I have to say tht market is having a trend(a trending market).. We need to further test this strategy in rangebound markets... Guys think of trailing SL here.. It will further work wonders..

True true true.. Even i thought tht but initaiting long can earn me some money but i will exit long with small profits with the fear of market coming down again.. No pure BUY signal for me.. I will wait until one such comes...
