Hi Guys, I need some help. I was going through the websites of the following 3 data providers.....

1. www . manshi . co. in
2. www . shareguru . in
3. www . chartsdata . com

I found that the description of their product features in their websites is the same and also the pricing of their products are exactly the same. I am feeling that all the above 3 companies are actually 1 only. This means their source of data is same and the server where they are storing the data is also the same. And if it is true......then suppose someday there is a problem with the datafeed/ server of one company, that means all the 3 will stop working at the same time.

Could anybody shed some light on the above ?
Which feed you want to subscribe ?

I am currently using shareguru, but i need a backup. That is why i asked if all the 3 are the same, then there is no point in subscribing to any one of the other 2 as back up because then if someday there is any problem with shareguru datafeed source/server, then the other 2 will also not work the same day.

by feed what i meant was yahoo, NOW, Tradetiger ... as those mentioned by you either provide yahoo, google feed or ability to connect your trading application to your charting software. So if you subscribe to yahoo and yahoo feed is not working then problem will be with all and they will tell you that they can't do anything about it.
So again which feed you want to subscribe ?

software is some what same. servers are different for shareguru and chartsdata. manshi is the mother company. they only designed software for shareguru, and chatsdata. but terminal based system of manshi depend less on server(only for backfilling) and provide cash, future and comodity.

Guys, I think I did not make myself clear. Let me put it again.

I am looking for direct datafeed from their server( mainly for FNO and commodity). I am not looking for their utility which will extract data from my terminal on my computer and will feed it to amibroker.

Now coming to their direct datafeed, I think all the 3 data providers work in the following way...

For equity - They extract data from yahoo/google and store it on their server from where I can get the data to my amibroker by using their software.

For FnO and Commodity - They extract data from some source ( may be odin/now/nest etc) and store that on their server. I will get that data from their server into my amibroker by using their software.

So bascially how their direct datafeed ( especially for FnO and commodity) works is----- they source the data from various sources and store it on their server. From their server client takes the data. Client does not extract data from his own terminal by using their utility.

So my question was if the source and particularly the servers on which they store this data is same for all the 3, then in case of a server problem all 3 will stop working at the same time.

But as kaly422000 mentioned, if the servers are different for shareguru and chartsdata, then it will not be a problem.

manshi fno one of the easiest and best software . their fno i checked with odin and indiabull, 1 or 2 sec max delay. but for equity(cash) terminal based system better than yahoo and google. u have 3 days free demo to try,so u can go for trial for terminal based and fno and access terminal based system also

Do you use both Equity and Commodities service of RTDS ? How about the data updation as compared to terminal ?

On their website they have mentioned that the backfill is in 5min. format for intraday . So is it not a problem because then for the database in Amibroker we will have to keep the base time interval as 5 min. instead of 1 min. ? This I ask you because the smaller time frame can be shrinked to get bigger time frame but bigger time frame cannot be expanded to get smaller time frame. I am curious !!

You may throw some light on this .

Thanks.
yes they admitted in case if use 1 min chart data may be get corrupted.
