1.Use standard Bollinger Bands ,that is, bb(s,20,2).

2.Use ema2-HIGH and ema2-LOW to outline the body of the worm.

3.If the body comes out of bands & re-enters ,then make an ENTRY.

4.The EXIT is, if body comes out the band,of the other band and re-enters the body.

5.In case of extreme Bullishness/extreme Bearishness another
pair is used pertaining to BB(20,1) or just for guidence in normal case also.

Columbus, when we look at the chart now, we see that the EMAs didn't cross the band at 14:20. But at the time, I swear I saw a crossover i.e. I saw the lower EMA going out of the band and re-entering. 3-4 bars later the picture was different. Very confusing.

Hi timepass,

Yes indeed, one CANDLE moved out of the lower band at that time and
became a WICK as seen in the chart. In such cases ,if you have a SHORT
position ,COVER it when the candle is out of the lower band. More later.

Today's chart stand out as another good example ,WHAT SHOULD WE DO
WHEN CANDLES MOVE OUT OF BANDS?.

The answer is simple, SQUARE-OFF YOUR POSITION.

On 3min Timeframe the picture was a bit different.I strongly recommand
both time frames (3 & 5).Since in this case ,EOD is fast approaching better
to square-off at 10~12 points, as shown below.
