First of all let us congratulate icici direct to have slashed theit charges and trying to become competitive but the reality is this is all because of R-Trade which is set to revolutionize the broking industry. But ICICI SHOULD WORK on its site so many people have lost money trading with ICICI because of site problems.

Actually it will be interesting to wait for the rtrade site. If their site functions along with their claim of lowest brokerages in the market, then it will be the best deal for online investors

trader 31339,
I think I can help you in this because I am trading with Sharekhan from the past 2 years. The fastest withdrawal time for me was three hours and the longest was an overnight wait.

Hi,

I've gone through various threads that deal with brokerages.

I'm thinking of opening an account in Sharekhan. Here are some details:

1. My trading volume will be Rs.10,000
2. I've only one bank account - State Bank of India.

Can you please answer to my questions, which are all based on Sharekhan:
1. Can we do trading in BSE?
2. What is the first time fees(I heard its Rs.500). Then after that do we need to pay any annual fees?
3. What is the min. trading volume? If we dont trade for that min. volume, will they impost any fine?
4. How long will it take to credit the amount to our bank account, when we sell the shares?
5. Which sharekhan account will be better for me?

Thanks a lot,
Praveen.

P.S: 1. I tried by best to dig each and every thread to find the answers to these questions, but got confused with differnt answers.
2. I'm not able to "Private message" you. Thats why I'm posting it here.

Guys,

ICICI direct has got a direct link (DL) option which is very good in terms of performance and intraday charts. Thefeatures are same as india bulls and 5 paisa. Direct link facility is available only for some customers whose monthly transactions are more than a 1.5crore.

Give a try ..

Cheers,
Krishna

but icici says their charge is economical than others charges..
