Recently, I had one-on-one interaction with few american traders and what I learnt is that their target are 20/30 ticks, which kind of translates to 20 or 30 cents movement.

I don't think I'd even recover my brokerage in that much.

So, how does that work. Are their brokerages and trading costs really so low? Can we open account there?

sry frn no idea about brokerages in US...but this kind of trading style which is also called HFT or jobbing doesn't suit most of us ...

And no, we can not open an account there as RBI rules doesn't allow forex outflow for speculative purpose which includes trading in forex and commodities against USD...

Isnt 20 - 30 cents movement in NG a big move? Or is it other scrips?

well 4.0030 to 4.0000 is 30 pips which is nothing....whereas 4.3000 to 4.0000 is 3000 pips tht means 7% almost...so m confused whch one u toking abt.....n frgt it yr we cnt trade against USD otherwise I wud hv been fulltime trader in FX, bullion and energy.... :-(

Today's low 44768,....CMP 44865 ... 310 points so far....low risk trader can cover here ... rest can carry shorts for revised tgt of 44450..
