Said in bravado no doubt. But this 'joke' is de-meaning to our soldiers and to our nation - because this does not represent who we are. We are, and our soldiers are disciplined and not brainwashed, nor filled with hate. And am sure unlike our neighbours, follow rules of combat and engagement. Though this will not apply to any terrorist who tries to infiltrate our country and kill innocent people and soldiers doing their jobs. Just my view.

Sure, you have no bad intention, and meant it as a joke.... Accepted. The point I am trying to make is that we do not GO DOWN to level of others - hating someone because of nationality? Think about it - If you do, then you become no different from them. A life lived on earth hating someone is not what we come here for. What defines us is our outlook, humanity and values and that is what rankles the haters..... and we do not have to become like them. And we can be thankful to providence, for we could also have been the person who was instead born across the border.... But thankfully we are not.
Secondly, the point about 'biryani' that is many time quoted is a lie. Had you been following the news, you would know that the state prosecutor Ujwal Nikam, publicly said on TV, 'Kasab never asked for biryani, we fabricated it. Kasab's demand for mutton biryani in jail was just a myth and was "concocted" Link :

But the lie has stuck - because it was meant to play on the public anger, and moreso, because people believe easily what they want to believe..... and hence quoted frequently though it is 100% false.
Anyway, don't need to go on further, but will make one more point. You understand english, I do as well, as all the members on the fourm. But cannot understand why the sudden switch language while writing as 90% of your reply is in Hindi? Many of our members are from South and may not be familiar and not understand what you post..... If any mods happen to read this post, or if TJji does, would request the stand of writing in hindi should be made clear - If I recollect TJ rules, writing in other languages leads to deletion of post - as has happened before when some members started commenting in South Indian language.

And he has very well won this fight because today Bedo does not only grows enough crops for its own people but also to supply in nearby villages, as well those of Bihar, Odisha and West Bengal; precisely, over 20,000 metric tonnes of vegetable supplies that go out every month from his mandi.
The environmentalist has dedicated his life to conservation of forest and water. His practices only spread when he started to teach the art of environment conservation to people from 51 other villages. 15,000 families now reap three crops, besides paddy, from nearly 2,000 acres of land.

It is part of human nature.... and based on the environment that it finds, it may thrive (where arbitrary rules exist) and in absence of which may exist, but to a lesser degree.... So even in places like US where corruption can lead to a loss of office, penalties and jail term, there are high level politicians, businessmen and powerful figures who have ended their careers in ignominy. In context of our country, even if the govt. manages to reduce corruption by half, it will mean a great deal. But political influence and money power does not leave much of a trail in most cases.... However, can say as compared to previous UPA regime, we all have to agree that there is considerable progress till date....
