Want 'news or 'article' to be published in the Times of India? No problem. Just bring your wallet. The news/article/review/story published, will depend upon your wallet size... Yes, so have stopped believing newspapers or news channels....

And one should not forget a billionaire broadcasting baron recently managed to elected to Rajya Sabha thru 'wrong ink used' was himself in the news when 'editors' of his 'News Channel' was caught on camera demanding bribes. So everything we read or hear as 'news' needs to be taken with a pinch of salt and a large dose of skepticism....

Creative tourism ..

But one friendly advice , plz. don't take any of Times Of India News word by word.. something I know very closely .. :p

A common sight in the city these days is Sikhs distributing chilled rose milk to passers-by on the roads on scorching summer afternoons. At a time when drinking water comes with a price tag, they are distributing flavoured milk for free. Setting up temporary camps across Delhi, they work tirelessly to ensure they can reach out to as many people as they can. With a smile on their faces, they hand over glasses after glasses to pedestrians, rickshaw-pullers, two-wheeler riders and anyone with a parched throat. And they do it without obligation. Without discrimination. Without moral arrogance. Yes, the camps cause traffic snarls; yes, they cause inconvenience to some but those sweating it out in the sun pulling rickshaws and cycles are not complaining.

TJ,

There is no doubt if the so called 'news' is true or false... The larger question is why TOI devoted space for this 'news item' Seems to be more of 'paid news' for publicity in my view (for whatever reasons)... The picture of the son doing 'work' behind the counter, would have costed extra...:lol::lol: So this seems to be more of a gimmick to get in the news rather than an attempt of a billionaire to teach the son how to lie low, avoid publicity, work hard and understand how life/business really is.... Seems like launch of a 'star son' in the real world....:rofl::rofl:

Yeah this news is true, Many people who helped him got surprise gifts from him, and they're sharing it in FB

Yes, it's a lot of seva, but not much civic sense. Traffic snarls aren't the only problem they cause. If possible, get someone to show you the pics of the locations AFTER the seva has ended. See the tons of plastics - glasses etc left behind. Very irritating.
