When authorities don't do work then it's a problem, when in rare cases they do what's right it's a conspiracy.

India obviously has rules and regulations but they are not properly enforced so companies take Indian authorities for a ride, and don't spend much on keeping the food safe enough, their main target is just to increase sales by SPENDING MORE on advertising rather than spending more on plants.

Remember cola pesticides issue? Nestle chocolate worms issues? And many more? Were these issues also for benefits of some competition?

If Volkswagen can dupe the world with cheating software in engine in more than 1 crore cars, including cars sold in America and all strict developed nations then why can't Nestle be wrong?

I think it was a great step ahead when a mad stupid multinational was shown you can't take Indian authorities so lightly and they have to improve their quality.............. It's very wrong to see it as a conspiracy to benefit Indian patanjali brand, which is not even in the market as of now, till the time patanjali will be available(or not) , Maggie will be back in stores again.

Think broader just like higher timeframes need to be seen while trading, same way full perspective of the things needs to be seen......... There is nothing different between trading and life situations

Nothing wrong with the regulatory action. Nothing wrong about Swadeshi. In fact, I have often suggested having a "Swadeshi" stamp on goods and services (e.g. 85% swadeshi, 50% swadeshi etc.) to denote the "foreign" content.

But this Nestle action was so obviously hackneyed and accompanied by a media blitz that the reason was quite apparent, to me at least.
