I don't have any expectations from you, as you get worked up very quickly and write something and then contradict yourself in no time. You wished payback for Amir Khan in post 972, and in 978, you wished both him and me well. Post 980 you thanked TP for making you realize that you are wasting your time, and post 983 you come write again breaking your own word given about 5 minutes back. :lol:

And in the below statement, you make an assumption - that just by speaking his mind as per the rights given in the constitution of India, Amir Khan has the agenda of breaking up the country. Guess who can be a better example of intolerance to free speech than one Mr. Vikas himself? The irony of your statement is not something that you will understand. It's like saying, I am committed to peace at all cost, and to maintain peace, I am willing to fight.

And finally, Amir Khan thru his movies and program Satyamev Jayate has done more for the country than you have. Hopefully, I wish you will prove me wrong and be able do better than him. :thumb::thumb::thumb:

i would have been intolerant if i had said aamir should not have said anything which i have never said..and i never singled out aamir khan for anything .. i was talking about the people who have got nothing to do accept pull down country for their personal gains ..Anti -modi agenda of a section of people is well known even after he has been cleared by supreme court from any wrong doing ..and now they are targeting the whole country for their agenda..and yes aamir khan has been part of group..his signature can be seen on the application which was sent to Usa so visa can be denied to mr modi...modi was presumed guilty even before he was proved in court and this is real intolerance..but hey everything is fair as long as agenda of theirs get fulfilled..and people like you defend these people at all cost..

BTW, I read about the TOI poll, but don't agree. Maybe I am in the 15% who thinks for himself and not react with emotions. And polls being what they are, will not be surprised that BJP fans voted heavily, as groups are raving and ranting all over the social media. There was once a poll held by an Indian media house as to who was the best actor in the world? And the answer was not surprisingly - Amitabh Bachchan, and that got published!!! I wonder what result would be to the question of there being a poll as to the best actor in the world say in France, Bolivia, China or in Egypt? So Mr. Vikas, forget quoting TOI's online poll, as even if the poll was 100% in favour of BJP it would not surprise me.

Re. your next theory - Are you quoting a book, movie, documentary or what? I would like to know, if it is a book, how many pages of it have you read it, leave aside the book itself? Or you are quoting someone else who has. If so, you would be like Mr. Pahlaj Nihilani, who without watching the James Bond movie Spectre, made cuts to it? While I do believe Western nations have their own agenda, what has your bete noire Amir Khan have to do with it? :lol::lol::lol:

Seems Amir Khan has got your goat and is playing on your mind. Where did I ask for any proof? I believe what Amir Khan said in the interview. I believe it is his life. Do you think he should not have the freedom to live it the way he chooses to?

Now Amir Khan being a celibrity, is an easy target. Instead of speaking his mind in the open and thus facing bigotry as well as hostility, there are many people who we look up to and revere have actually done what Amir Khan said. E.g Sundar Pichai, CEO, Google has given up his Indian passport to take on American citizenship. Or for the matter, Satya Nadella, CEO, Microsoft? Did these guys too not get Indian education, and benefit from govt. funded and subsidized IIT's? But how does that make it wrong from making best of their lives? On the other hand many eminent scientist and engineers working with ISRO, IAS, IMA etc, would have given up good career prospects and chances of accumulating immense wealth to serve the country. That is commendable. The point here is simple. We are great country because we have the freedom to make choices and live our lives the way we want to. Freedom of speech, and having the right to criticize ourselves when we think is wrong, is what differentiates us from China, or Saudi Arabia or North Korea. Few people understand this, or can take criticism in the stride without getting messed up in the mind. Simply, your argument is too narrow, and no different from the crowd that is upset, and feels wronged or outraged about somebody excercising the right given to us in our constitution. And in the process, an issue has made out from nothing.....

And even without having read it, will say that Western and other powerful nations have their own agenda. Modi's friend Barak, along with China and Russia (who we have antagonised enough) acted in tandem to scuttle India's bid to join the UN Security Council two month back. This, after Modi made a visit to US, and after Obama was made the Chief Guest for the Republic Day Parade.

And as to the poll - what was the sample size, and what % of the 125 crore + people participate? And how many of the people who voted were hardcore BJP supporters? In Iraq and Libya Saddam and Gaddafi used to get better than 85% or closer to 100% votes. But that does not matter as I am speaking in favour of freedom of speech, which according to popular opinion. not be used to :

1. Speak one's mind.
2. Speak the truth.
3. Not speak if it is inconvenient.

And doing any of the above, if the majority feels is unpatriotic, so be it. And I hope there is no response to tell me to leave the country or go to Pakistan for believing in free speech. If so, I can tell them to spend a year in North Korea - where they will learn a better definition and get well educated as to what it means to be patriotic. :lol::lol::lol:

Also, please decide what label you want to use to shame me : Ignorant or Ill informed. Am confused.
