Second one looks better to me.

By the way: Today @ 11:17 this was looking like a fat finger event in Nifty. Has anyone more information on it?

hi senior's , will u all plz guide me , to get an theme ....

which trading strategies work better in sideways market , which type of systems generates better result , if a trend is not there or it is not mature ......

actually i need ur guidence because i am working on a project , where my aim is to diversify my positions in different systems , to gain consistently , u may see further reference here
http://www.traderji.com/advanced-trading-strategies/92440-random-mind.html

here , i am suceed till now in making of three systems ,
1)trend trading in 15m
2)momentum trading with trend in 3m
3)range breakout in 5 minutes .

now i am in process in making a system which perform better if a trend in not there , or u may say a sideways phase .....
plz give me some initial idea's from ur experience, so that i can carry my research work in that direction....
The following methods work well in sideways markets :

1) Sideways market moves in upper and lower boundries , so sell near upper boundry, buy near lower boundry.

2) Any oscillator overbought/oversold areas. You may consider Stochastics, RSI etc

3) VWAP bands ( sell in resistance bands and buy in support bands).

4) TDST supports and resistances.

ST Da : You mentioned about TDST resistance in 1 min NF today. Didn't understand that Please throw some light on that please.

That's the one that killed me today.
I too was stopped out once by such a spike on a RBI policy day.
Had Shorted NF and placed my stop about 25 30 points away.
Pre announcement, NF shot up like crazy , took out my stop by 1 point, made a new high and corrected sharply.

:D

I was lucky to have shorted again real quick, and closed shop @ about breakeven.

Hate them spikes.

I have posted some old charts here on intraday trading with TDST.....I still use TDST levels as they are very accurate. Today we had a TDST resistance at 6085 and the market took resistance there twice...and when that level was taken out, the market was set up for an upmove which continued till the end.

And that spike gave a good profit to me, as I was short, as per my analysis posted yesterday. Though couldnt make full use of this spike, but gave good profit. (there was a -ww with target 6045 at open, though it gave result a bit late and another one with target 6065 just before this spike)

Manishchan told that his stop loss was not triggered and you have been filled with your exit, so why was his stop loss not triggered and your exit was triggered? What do I miss? Have you been filled some where in this spike or was it on an other candle?
