We meet here every day..don't we ? But web meet is a good idea. But what will web meet achieve which the forum is not able to do ??

No privacy issues, I have met many from TJ and no such issue ever came.Arranging a meet, making arrangements of stay for outside the city guys, arranging hall, audiovisual, lectures, food....takes a lot of organising. I have arranged such meet for other forum so I know...

I was not talking about sharing knowledge or trading.Sharing and caring wont make you rich or successful. People whether individuals or corporates make money by helping real people solve real problems. It can be products or services.

Your friend identified that the people in a particular locality desperately needed a curry point. He acted on it and started one which became an instant hit. Now he is looking to expand the model identifying other areas.It can be a Barber shop or a Laundry.

Those guys working for corporates come across such situations frequently. For example their company may find it difficult to source a particular part or a certain service. There is an opportunity there. But they are not ready to act and grab the opportunity.Nobody can help them
