Real successful people are those who make money helping others to make money
True in terms of helping gesture. Like sharing knowledge helps you gain more, not sharing will make it evaporate. But how about people working in corporate. A lot of people handle big things for the company, run the entire show, handle clients, keeps the business. In a way they are helping the company to grow and make money. In return, what do they get... check end of the month and promotion probably in a few years. (will always be peanuts compared to what they have put in vs what they get in return)
A real story of my friend : This guy passed out grad and was working for a comp, making about 25K a month (in 2007-08). He left and I met him after like 2 years. This guy left the job and started a curry point (very famous in HYD). He says that job was getting him 25k a month, the curry point was making him net profit of 75K/month. Within a year, he opened another stall with the savings. Now this guy just looks over the stalls making about 2 lakh a month. Would he have been where he is with the comp he worked for.. may be yes but in how many years.
sorry for the long post... just putting my views
