As you are a pure option trader (according to your post in Escapes thread) and you hold your positions for a few weeks and more, I guess you are a time decay player? If not, what are your favorite long option strategies if any or do you play only the directional game on the long side (up and down)?

Yeah, as I told to ST earlier, I dont trade futures because I am not comfortable with the risk involved.

That is also the reason why I dont sell naked options to collect time decay as I am not comfortable with the exposure. I explain exposure here.

I do mainly spreads (both debit and credit). But I also take naked long options if there is a breakout.

The charts are missing because I deleted my imageshack account now that it has become a paid service.

On another note, if anybody likes PC games, there is a very good hacker game coming out this year, looking forward to it. :thumb:

iam a trader in nifty options offcourse i go with naked buying and selling on breakouts...i got two doubt's..
1.OI of options data is to be observed in the week of expiry??
2.Any special factors to be observed to play the expiry week ??

As I wrote above, I hold positions for several weeks so OI data is mostly irrelevant for me.

I mostly use price action + few indicators (i.e. MACD, RSI & BB - one trend, one momentum and one volatility indicator) along with intermarket analysis and some macro-fundamental analysis.
