Well. I do not want to write these lines.

But

To operate a live person and to perform a postmortem on a dead person are totally different jobs.

In this context, I liked Sonika thread, but the way Sonika has chosen was not appropriate.

Sonika probably assumed that she is the princess and all others are her servants who will come running on her call. She probably thought that seniors get paid here for posting and if getting paid then why are they not doing their duty of continuously telling her what the market trend was and it was none of her job to find of herself what the trend was.

Help can be asked as a request but if someone demands it as if it is his birthright then it will not be forthcoming.

Any person who has read the posts by the gems listed on that thread would know that the gems have been kind and gracious enough to help even without being asked. Too bad some folks can't see it.

These days the market opens with a gap and goes sideways the whole day.More than 80-85 % of the days in a month are sideways. With the gap we try to trade it as a trend day and that is where the problem is....

If we assume that all days are sideways days and trade as sideways days till a day proves otherwise by flipping into the trend mode, we will do much better in our trades.

Extending the logic further, if we assume a day to be sideways and it proves to be a trend day, the points we loose in stops can easily be recouped many times over in a further trend which develops. But if we assume a trend day and the day proves to be a sideways day and if stops are hit, it is very difficult to recoup those lost points because of sideways day....
