Much earlier, maybe a year or more ago, you had mentioned that if the price is very far from ATP, then after 2.45pm it starts getting closer.

Was just asking from that point of view.

if long undwinding starts potetial was there.....and post 3pm it started moving down

what ST was saying is given the prev fall....were there enough longs still around to unwind

bnf vwap diff was 140 odd pts

Yes you are right...market accelerating on downmove...I thought longs are already out and no one left for panic liquidation but no they are now liquidating in panic.

at 2009 election vix almost hit 80. currently around 31. i am also considering buying nifty future and shorting at the money puts. or shorting at the money call and puts and buying out of money call and put. have not decided yet because the majority of people saying bjp will form government. but as per my experience most of time market goes against majority of peoples thinking. :annoyed:

Are you just considering to take the positions in Nifty only or you plan to take some trades in Stock Options as well ? I think Stock Options IV will shoot up making them more expensive. I am doubtful if BJP can get complete majority, so I am expecting a down move and therefor looking towards buying some stock puts.

Another thing we have to see is that at 2:25 bar the VWAP difference was maximum and from that point it is continuously reducing in every bar meaning that bulls liquidation is over long back...now bears covering their profits...In bull liquidation this difference goes on increasing...

thanks. ur right for stocks IV. personally i dont like stock trading so i will be with nifty only.i am very week at selecting right stocks for trading. i am agree with u regarding to down move i also feel the same but we have to prepare for the worst condition. buying puts overnight is very dangerous but it can give u jackpot returns if market will go on lower circuit. this time results are in market time so i am considering trading ( intraday )with naked options (call or put ) with tight stop loss ( bracket orders zerodha ). or shorting at the money call/put and buying out of money call/put ( overnight position ) which is not much risky to trade..
