Ok, here what I saw in the video about option trading from Traders Carnival 2012: @ap_pune - Options strategies - at #TC2012, Bangalore: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvYYJdPSJJs

What was discussed mainly: Option trading on futures and stocks.

- Most of the time was discusses about option entries in future and stock markets on TA on option charts
- Some words about stop loss and exits from those options.
- Some words about OI on options.
- Some words about MAX pain.
- Option Oracle was mentioned, but useless today as it not works.
- Some words about option expiry and expiry with Camarilla points.
- Little words about option strategy trading.

- Recommended trade at the end of the session must have finally been in loss or no profit at the end, as Nifty at the end of Nov 2012 not reached 6000.

- Not even one word was used about advanced option strategy trading,
- itm option trading,
- advanced and active option leg in and out trading,
- handling losses in any option trade and bring them again in profit,
- probability option strategy trading and the adjustments to it,
- short option strategies and there management,
- daily active managing an option with profit in the market.

This are just information based on facts in the video with no value behind it. Just a list of topics which are discussed and a list of topic which are not discussed in the video. As the audience on the event was very mixed, the guy surely did his best to explain what he wanted to explain :clapping:. Not discussed topics in this video may have been discussed in other events on this Traders Carneval.

How do you trade the action point marked in the 6726 - 6732 zone ..

At what exact point of time did you long, and where would you place a stop ?

With such movement, I would have placed a long at the close of the 2nd 3 min candle, ~ 6735 - 6736, with a stop of 10 points. My SL would have run had I taken this trade .... Infact many of my SLs get run this way ....

EDIT: I see that you didnt go long there, but covered your shorts .. would still like your view on how would you trade it ?

With patience, experience, not with the idea to catch the exact low, going short there with the adequate derivative , as some people have been long the whole day until this moment And yes, I know you talk about 6730 level.

Adequate derivative wont make sense nowadays unless there is a huge move on the downside ....

My question was of dealing with the zone, with the futures, and mainly a day trade ...
