Adequate derivative wont make sense nowadays unless there is a huge move on the downside ....

My question was of dealing with the zone, with the futures, and mainly a day trade ... :)
Even for you: No time is lost time to learn new things. Good luck :) Read again my post and read it again.

If by adequate derivative, you meant shorting either a CE or a PE, it wont make sense for me .... and specially not in this market, with the IVs through the roof.

Also i'm strictly interested in futures and day trading only at this point in time ...

Would love to learn new things, but need to be adequately capitalized to put into effect the new things that I'd learn .... :D

In due course of time ... :)

Simply spoken: All this bla bla about higher IMV is out of any discussion when toking the option trade at begin of May series. I have seen no comments here nor in any other thread about any trade like May 6850 put since the begin of May series. This put, traded with the right ideas day by day, in combination with other puts, has given a lot of net cash and still not cashed money. Beside this play, you still can play the future game in your market day by day. If you understand the option game, you may are a bit less stressed about what can be done. Take care and good luck in your trading :)

Yes, you are spot on.
Thanks .. :thumb:

How do you trade the action point marked in the 6726 - 6732 zone ..

At what exact point of time did you long, and where would you place a stop ?

With such movement, I would have placed a long at the close of the 2nd 3 min candle, ~ 6735 - 6736, with a stop of 10 points. My SL would have run had I taken this trade .... Infact many of my SLs get run this way ....

EDIT: I see that you didnt go long there, but covered your shorts .. would still like your view on how would you trade it ?
That was a place to cover shorts because of 60-13 band lower boundry.. Long one can go above 1 min or 3 min pivot high at that area which was at 6737.7 in my chart (2:26 candle).Once that was takenout, market did not look back.

hi,

As most of traders are preparing to paly big during election results day, i am also planning to gamble fewer K's.

I am very much bearish and don’t want hedge also. Planning to buy only PUTS. Instead of buying NIFTY OTM PUTS,i want to buy stock PUT options (stocks
which are relatively weak).

can someone list out F&O stocks which are relatively weak.. idea here is if NIFTY falls 10%, if we select weak stocks (or stocks which will get severely affected if there is unstable govt), the fall will be more than 15-20%.
