hmm....how long you have been following Sudarshan Sukhani ? He is the worst analyst in trading world.....look at moneycontrol and his recommendation.... one thing is certain that he is a reverse indicator
people jokingly say if sukhani says buy then its time to sell
many investors has filed cases on this guy. I am not advocating or patronizing anybody.....just giving you a warning if you are following his advice..

He is as good or as bad as any other analyst. I found his recommendations (on CNBC in the morning) a mixed bag with a positive bias. I would give his hit rate a more than 60%, if you follow the mentioned SL and trail them.

A lot of people say bad things about Ashwani Gujral too. I think that we have a thread about Gujral here on TJ. I have the same views about Gujral as for Sukhani. Gujral seems to give a pretty good idea about the CNX-IT.

On 16th May SBI Was At 2370 & Reliance Was @1084 While Nifty Was 7280...Today SBI 2370 & Reliance 997 But Nifty Is Trading @7800.....

Two Days Back Before IIP DATA Nifty Closed 101++. Next Day Almost All Major Stocks Were Down By Minimum Of 3% (Incl SBI) But That Same Day Nifty Closed In Green.....
Only Index was Up, All Major Stocks (Except Few Stocks Like INFY, TCS, AXIS, ICICI) Were Down...

TCS has the highest weightage in the index. Last week IT index boomed, keeping the Nifty up.

Kya yaar.. again the same thing, ambiguous.

1) Two separate predictions ? one for the weekly and one for the August expiry ? 2 lakhs each ?
2) No last dates ? What if I predict on the last minute before expiry ?

My experience about Sudarshan Sukhani is totally different. I have been hearing him on CNBC for last 1-1.5 years atleast and I found that his overall analysis of the market is very good...I would rate it as best on CNBC. Earlier I used to hear premarket comments of Udayan Mukherji and I found them very well for overall view on Indian and world markets....

I dont follow his stock recommendation...but his views on Nifty are very good and I always switch on CNBC at 8 :00 while I do my morning excercise workouts,to hear his premarket views. We being traders I get overall view of the market...and if the market starts going in opposite direction we will definately reverse the position. For example last 3 days Sukhani has been telling that trend is up so buy in dips and I have been doing exactly that. Where to buy in dips etc...I use my own methods.Yesterday market did not sell off and I am long from 3 days in swing as well as daytrades and if it would have cracked 7712 in the morning and 7770 in the afternoon session, we would have reversed our long position...but market remained strong and happily closed at 7800.

I do my own research every day on supports and resistance levels but I also listen to what others say.How much to take from what they say depends on us.

I like Sameer Arora also and his views on Indian and global markets.
