Sameer Arora is a Managing Director of Hellios Capital , it is a hedge fund based in Singapore and they have good exposure to Indian markets...he does not come on CNBC everyday...comes very rarely as a guest but I find that he talks lots of sense....

For spam.....I will not consider new Id of AUG....as amount is big 4 lacs....for expiry prediction...

Ok. So, as I understand

1. you are inviting 2 different predictions - one for the next week and one for the expiry
2. The prize money is Rs. 2 lakh each.
3. For the week ending on Friday the 22nd of August, one can make predictions starting from now upto Thursday the 21st August, the prize money decreasing with the time of prediction.
4. For the expiry on Thursday 28th of August, a member can make prediction from now upto 27th of August, the prize money decreasing with the time of prediction.

Did I get it right ?

• Why not start a separate thread about it ? Start two separate threads - one titled "Predictions for the week 18th Aug to 23rd Aug" and the other titled "Predictions for August expiry".
• Let the members post their predictions in the respective threads.
• Since it is not possible for a member to edit his post after 24 hours, if a member wants to change his prediction, let him quote his earlier post.
• The mods can help in this because it has the potential to become a huge traffic generator. Maybe the threads should be closed or moved to the read-only forum on the penultimate evening.

My thoughts. You can announce the prize for Nifty or Banknifty, knowing that your trades are generally in Banknifty. Also, you can define a broader range for BNF.

2. The prize money is Rs. 2 lakh each.
