The premium of all PE's and all OTM CE's decreased.

For PE is understood, but decline in premium even of 6400 CE is shocking.

Certainly, the markets may reverse from now.

The markets may reverse on the upside ?

I think my today's trades were really my fault. I have had too many "no trade" days and was feeling like a fool for letting so many good opportunities pass by.

Sounds good. Works not so good. Every business has its own share of headaches. After long thoughts I found that day trading/ stock market is the better option, if I can get the hang of it, it will be worth the years of training.

correct. this calls for a contrarian short for a target upto 3ema level.

someone had posted a amazing ema contrarian strategy in this forum. He traded US stocks on swing basis using this method.

Just closely watch the chart and see, the risk of positional trading with such 3ema strategy during big gap up or gap down, specially during big event day.
Even if Bank Nifty touched 3ema today and closed there after a sharp fall in last few minutes, still it is a big loosing trade for yesterdays positional contrarian short. Is not it? And the bigger the gap means bigger 3ema jump and hence bigger loss.

This type of 3ema strategy is certainly not good for positional trading during Big Event Day when there is possibility of a big gap up or down in opposite side of this trade.
Just imagine the 3ema position if the gap up was bigger like above 12500.

A trader must know the Maximum Risk per single trade also before creating a 'naked overnight position' more specifically 'A Contrarian Overnight Naked Position' before 'A Big Event Day like Vote Result etc'. .

I was really upset even ST talking about other business not mentioning trading for sometime but finally it came out of his own mouth . Its always great to hear someone else say "trading is a great business" and that too from pros.

ST, do you do any other business other than trading? Sorry if its personal, but since your thinking is what easily attracts everyone, we might get an idea of our future please.

No , last many years I am a full time trader, no other business other than trading , and very happy in this business.This is the best business if one can trade profitably, no other business will attract you.
